Frequently Asked Questions...
How do I book?
Should you decide that you want to make a booking for your wedding or event I will take all the necessary details about your date in order to provide you with a quote, after which a 100€ booking fee is required to secure my availability. I will then confirm upon receipt of your payment to let you know that my time is now dedicated to you for your wedding day or other occasion.
Do you provide an on site service?
Yes, absolutely. I can come to your required venue on the day of your event. This also applies to any trial that you book with me. I am available for work anywhere in Mallorca, the other Balearic Islands of Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, along with some select dates for winter weddings in the UK, where in particular my work takes me to the North East of England such as Durham, Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
Do you provide hair services as well?
Absolutely. Whilst in the past I have restricted hair styling options to smaller photo shoot services and preferred to remain a makeup specialist for weddings, I took the opportunity that a very quiet 2020 provided and dedicated some real time to refining my skills in bridal hair styling. My style of work has developed to very much reflect the same romantic, natural look you will see in my makeup, so if you are searching for a bridal look that encompasses seamlessly flowing natural beauty, then look no further.
How far in advance should I book?
You can book any time you like! For brides, the most common option is to book 10-12 months in advance, some brides also like to book as soon as they have secured their venue. For other events, it is best to get in touch with me as soon as you can in order to secure your date, particularly if your event falls within the summer wedding season (April to October inclusive).
Do I have to have a trial?
A trial is entirely optional and up to you to decide upon. That said, I do strongly recommend a trial for brides in particular as it allows me to work with you on a one to one basis without any time constraints to really get to grips with your personal preferences, your unique style and the look you want to achieve for this most important of celebrations.
I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup, is hiring a makeup artist the best option for me?
Again, this is a decision for you to make based on how you feel most comfortable. Remember though, that makeup is not limited to the ‘full glam’ Instagram type looks that we see so much of today, and I am more than happy to work with you to create a soft, natural look that will take the stress out of getting ready on the day of your wedding or event. Booking a trial with me is usually the best way to achieve this.
What brands do you use?
I am a strong believer that in this day and age no makeup products or tools need be tested on or come from animals. Some of my trusted brands, not only in terms of being cruelty free but also high performance include Hourglass, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay, Too Faced, and of course, the wonder that is the Beautyblender for the most flawless of foundation applications.
Do you travel outside of Mallorca?
Yes! My work takes me all over, in particular to the other Balearic Islands and also to the UK. I am happy to discuss travel to your desired location. I also plan in a select number of dates during which I am available for winter weddings in the UK. Feel free to drop me an email for details if you are planning your Christmas or New Year wedding!
