Once upon a time I completed my degree in a very different sector - zoology and conservation! Fast forward a few years to 2012 when I chose to retrain in beauty therapy. I gained in depth knowledge of skincare, makeup application, lash application and much more, but something still wasn't right...
So I came late to the world of professional makeup and hair after never feeling that real sense of fulfillment I wanted from my career. I knew that the empowerment of the amazing women I saw everywhere around me was what really motivated me, but it wasn’t until I connected this with my love of all things makeup and styling that I had the lightbulb moment that led me to the best decision I’ve ever made. So now what? I knew I had some skill with a makeup brush already, but also that if I wanted to be the best around (something I strive for relentlessly) I needed to nurture and refine what I knew. Cue the amazing and prestigious Kristina Gasperas Academy. As soon as I saw Kristina’s website I knew that this was how I wanted to train. Kristina and Kasia’s perfectionism, flair and professionalism mirrored exactly what I was aspiring to, so who better to learn from? Next came the decision to keep my art completely cruelty free. I'm a firm believer that in this day and age no animal need suffer so that we can be beautiful, and with so many superb products out there from brands who set the right example, selecting the perfect products for my kit was a walk in the park.
The rest is history, so now I continue on my journey in the beautiful Mallorca, striving for perfection, always learning, and feeling privileged that I get to make others feel beautiful, confident and empowered.
